We live in a period in which developed and industrialised societies are dominated by technological progress, especially in the workplace. This trend is associated with a growing increase in sedentary behaviour which we urgently need to combat. Knowing that more than half of the day is spent at the workplace and that most office workers spend at least two thirds of their day sitting down, it is fundamental to create conditions for people to feel good and for that place to be perceived as a pleasant space. We therefore understand that the development of initiatives that promote physical and psychological wellbeing in the workplace are essential to increase the quality of life, which inevitably has an impact on the daily lives of all workers.
